MANCHESTER: Manchester United are said to be keen to get Christian Eriksen – with Inter Milan looking to remove the player just 11 months after joining the club.

The 28-year-old midfielder has been through a nightmare since arriving in Italy from Tottenham in January.

He did not get a place in Antonio Conte’s starting line-up, and only played 274 minutes in Serie A this season besides always being a reserve player in the Champions League.

Inter reportedly willing to sell Eriksen but want a transfer fee of around £ 27 million.

United want to add an attacking midfielder to their squad with Paul Pogba’s future and his fitness looking uncertain ahead of next month’s transfer phase.

Eriksen has also been targeted by Arsenal and PSG, but Inter’s offer on a possible player transfer has been rejected.

The former Ajax pillar has been in the interest of the French giants for the past few seasons and is already trying to get it from Spurs.

His sports director, Leonardo, is a fan of the player and it is said that there may be an agreement involving an exchange with Leandro Paredes.
