Leao Scored The Fastest Goal In Serie A
MILAN: AC Milan striker Rafael Leao scored the fastest goal in Serie A history, just six seconds after kick-off in a 2-1 win over Sassuolo that kept them at the top of the league.
Milan, hunting for the first Serie A title since 2011, continued to start as soon as the whistle started with Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu baiting the ball to Leao.
The fastest Serie A goal was previously recorded by Paolo Poggi for Piacenza against Fiorentina in December 2001, in eight seconds.
Milan lead Inter Milan by one point after Antonio Conte’s side beat Spezia 2-1, with Juventus four points behind leaders.

“We have four or five starting patterns. (Leao) is ready.
“Winning this match has a huge impact on psychology,” Milan manager Stefano Pioli said.
