Solskjaer: Pogba Able To Help United Shine Again

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Paul Pogba could help Manchester United return to shine after the midfielder is now preparing to return to action in the English Premier League (EPL).

After nearly two months of struggling with a hip injury he suffered against Everton on February 6, Pogba is now ready to return to action in the first division.

Since recovering from the injury, he has scored one goal against AC Milan in the Europa League and also played against Leicester City in the FA Cup before the international break – he then made three appearances for France and continues to build his fitness.

United have only scored more than one goal in one of their last eight games in all competitions.

United manager Solskjaer hopes Pogba, who now looks fresher, can help them get sharper starting with the match against Brighton and Hove Albion in the EPL match at home early on Monday morning.

“It’s a big catalyst,” Solskjaer said of Pogba’s return.

“He looks very fresh and ready to start the action.

“We realize how important he is to us and how important his presence has been before.

“When losing a player with such quality for a long period of time, it shows the quality of other players and we have done very well.

“But with Paul back fit towards the end of the season and our strikers back sharp, hopefully we will be back to shine and back to scoring more goals,” he said.
