PARIS: Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly contacted Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.

The Ligue 1 champions are believed to be targeting the 28 -year -old Egyptian as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, should the young French star leave them this summer.

The 22 -year -old’s contract expires next summer and it is said Mbappe will not sign a new contract.

Many top clubs are interested in Mbappe’s services – including Liverpool – but Real Madrid is seen as his top option.

One of Liverpool’s best players since he joined the English club from Roma in 2017.

He scored 92 goals in 138 Premier League appearances, helping them win their first league title in 30 years and the 2019 European Champions League.

PSG are also interested in Harry Kane, with manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly asking the Spurs striker what he would do if Tottenham failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Apart from Kane, PSG are also linked with Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, who is ready to be released by the Italian club at a price of around 25 million pounds.
