Arteta: Watch Out For Spurs Trio

LONDON: Mikel Arteta has warned Arsenal players that they will face one of Europe’s “special” attacking lines when they take on Tottenham in neighboring London at midnight tomorrow.

Tottenham have already scored 102 goals in all competitions this season after Harry Kane exploded twice in a 2-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of the Europa League last 16 in midweek.

Only Bayern Munich have scored more goals in the top five European leagues so far this season and Arsenal boss Arteta is aware Kane, Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale will pose a big threat at the Emirates Stadium.

The trio look set to start the game for Jose Mourinho’s squad as Tottenham look for a third straight win in the north London neighbors.

“It’s very difficult because of the level of quality, accuracy, understanding and compatibility that you have between them which makes them probably one of the most special (offensive parts) in Europe,” Arteta said.

“And they don’t need a lot of help. They are able to create opportunities on their own, they can work together as a team.

“So it’s very difficult to do, but we’re well prepared to block them.”

Kane, Son and Bale have already scored 34 Premier League goals between them in 27 games this time around.

They are expected to increase that number against the Arsenal defense who have only missed once in 12 games.
